Congratulations on starting your next game jam! We know you're under a time crunch, constantly asking yourself: is the loop clear, does it feel good, and is the scope realistic for what we can ship this weekend? (If you aren't asking these questions, you should.)

To help you answer them and get the most out of the experience, we're hosting a 5-hour, non-stop feedback session led by veteran game designers. Drop in anytime for one-on-one feedback on your game. This event is open to all GGJ 2026 participants.

What you’ll get
  • Fast, actionable feedback that helps you finish a fun game on time

  • Learn by watching other teams get reviewed and seeing what others are building

  • Meet and connect with jammers from other sites you wouldn’t normally cross paths with

How it works

5–10 professional game designers will rotate throughout the session and run parallel breakout rooms. Each reviewer will give one-on-one feedback on your game and end with clear next steps. To keep things moving, we'll primarily review short gameplay clips, unless a build link is readily playable.

Use the sign-up form to submit your game either ahead of the session or live during the event. If your team isn't present when called, we'll skip and move on, but you're welcome to re-queue. If demand is high, we may follow up with an AMA-style thread for additional async feedback.

Who is it for

All Global Game Jam 2026 participants are welcome. Whether you want your team's game reviewed, want to watch and learn, or just want to meet fellow jammers, you're in the right place.

Note this is an independent RealXP Lab event and not affiliated with Global Game Jam, Inc.

Recording & privacy

We may record this session to create educational highlights for the wider community. If you’re comfortable appearing in the recording, feel free to turn your camera on to keep things interactive, but you’re also welcome to stay off-camera and participate via voice or chat.
